Campus Together – University of Mainz

Presentation of Iranian culture, history and society to around 2000 students.

As part of the “Campus Together” event at the University of Mainz, IStA actively participated in presenting Iranian culture, history and social diversity. The event was organized in cooperation with AStA Mainz and, according to university estimates, reached around 2000 students. For IStA, this event was a special opportunity to present Iran from a broader perspective. In addition to cultural aspects, history, social diversity, academic contributions and current developments were also addressed. The aim was to share knowledge, reduce stereotypes and enable open exchange between students from different backgrounds. Through direct conversations, many visitors were able to ask questions and gain a more realistic understanding of Iranian society. Participation in “Campus Together” showed how important student initiatives are for intercultural understanding. IStA was able not only to present culture, but also to show that Iranian students are active, engaged and responsible participants in university life.
