Information Stand on the Current Situation in Iran

Information stand at the university to inform and create dialogue about Iran.

In February 2026, IStA organized an information stand at the university to inform students, university members and interested citizens about the current situation in Iran. The stand created space for exchange, questions and open conversations. The goal of this initiative was to make information accessible and strengthen awareness of social and political developments in Iran. Many people have limited or one-sided information about the situation in the country. Therefore, IStA considered it important to provide factual, personal and direct information. The information stand also served to make the perspective of Iranian students visible. Through conversations, personal experiences, concerns and hopes could be shared, creating a more human understanding of the events in Iran. This activity was an important contribution to political education and intercultural dialogue at the university. It showed that awareness, openness to discussion and personal encounters are central elements of civic responsibility.
