Media Presence and Interviews

Interviews with German media to highlight Iranian students and the current situation in Iran.

Over the past year, IStA was able to present its work and perspectives to a broader audience through several media appearances. These included interviews and reports in well-known German media outlets such as Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) and Allgemeine Zeitung Mainz. This media presence was an important step in making the voices of Iranian students more visible. Through these reports, topics such as freedom, human rights, social change and the situation of Iranian civil society were brought into a wider public conversation. For IStA, it was important not only to speak about political developments, but also to show the experiences of young Iranians in Germany. This helped create a more nuanced image of the Iranian community, its concerns, hopes and civic engagement. The interviews helped connect local student work with international political developments. They also strengthened the public perception of IStA as an active voice of Iranian students in Mainz and Wiesbaden.
