Daily Support for Iranian Students

Support for Iranian students through an active Telegram community with over 250 members.

A particularly practical and important part of IStA’s work is supporting Iranian students in everyday life. Through a large Telegram community with more than 250 members, the association provides a platform for exchange, mutual assistance and quick orientation. Many topics that are important for students in Germany are discussed in this group. These include questions about studies, applications, housing, administrative procedures, immigration office matters, job search, health insurance and integration into daily life. For many new students, starting life in Germany can be challenging and uncertain. IStA helps make this transition easier by enabling experienced members to share their knowledge and support newcomers with concrete problems. This form of support strengthens not only individual students, but also the entire community. It creates trust, solidarity and a sense of belonging. In this way, IStA fulfills an important social role within the Iranian student community in Mainz and Wiesbaden.
